McDonalds Products
From McKebab to McPizza. 10 Mcdonald’s products you probably never heard about
McLobster – Canada
Some McDonald’s restaurants in New England and the Canadian Maritimes offer lobster rolls as a seasonal menu item, called the McLobster.link
Nürnburger – Germany.
Starting July 5th, McDonald’s began rolling out a Nürnburger, which consists of three Nuremberg style sausages, grilled onions sitting on a mustard roll. The bratwurst comes from a leading German sausage maker (Howe), and according to BurgerBusiness, McDonald’s has reported a rather strong increase in sales in the area which might be a reason the area has received special nativel burger attention this time around.link
McWedding – Japan
Couples who are getting hitched and have a penchant for fast food can now tie the knot in McDonald’s restaurants. These so-called ‘McWedding’ ceremonies include a buffet of burgers and a wedding cake built out of apple pies. The strory began when a couple who originally met at a Hong-Kong-based McDonald’s decided to get married there. The word quickly spread, prompting couples all across the country to call into McDonald’s asking to make a reservation for their own wedding. Thus a trend was born.link
McBeer – Germany
Beer is no longer sold at all locations. Beer and the now-discontinued “fried chicken breast product” were initially sold to reduce culture shock. It is still served in older outlets that are owned by German brewers with leases covering the serving of beer. It is now priced higher than other outlets.link
McPasta – New Zealand and Australia
McDonald’s began testing a pasta-based menu at 40 units across Rochester, N.Y. in September 1991, including lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and spaghetti with meatballs.Recently the company tried pasta meals for kids in New Zealand and Australia – both countries are removing them from their menus due to low demand.link
McPizza – USA and India
McDonald’s has also attempted pizza at various times, with an apple-pie–like McPizza and more conventional McDonald’s Pizza. A line of personal-sized pizzas was first seen in the late 1970s in test-market stores near interstate highways around Milwaukee and Madison. However, variations have found their way into some international markets such as India (the pie-like “Pizza McPuff”). But people didn’t associate McDonald’s with pizza and they could get better pizza elsewhere and McPizza was gradually abandoned, and generally forgotten.link
McRice – Indonesia
McRice burger or Beef FÃ n-tastic – Indonesia. “Fan” word is rice in Mandarin and . it's the traditional ground beef hamburger or chicken filet with special sauce but that’s not your traditional bun. Those are toasted rice cakes. link
McKebab – Israel
McShawarma (shawarma served in flatbread) and McKebab (kebab served on flatbread) are specialty items on the Israeli menu. On January 18, 2011 McDonald’s introduced the McFalafel sandwich in Israel. link
Spam & Eggs – Hawai.
Spam is so popular in Hawaii it has been dubbed “The Hawaiian Steak,” so it is no surprise that McDonald’s put the meat in their Deluxe Breakfast. Eggs, rice, hashbrowns, spam and toast. In Hawai, Spam is not considered low-life meat. Hawaii residents consume nearly 7 million cans of Spam each year making it the state that buys more Spam than any other.link
Mc-Gazpacho Spain
McDonald’s Spain serves gazpacho (which is a chilled tomato-vegetable soup) that marinates in a cold bowl. The base starts with olive oil, vinegar, water and bread cubes. Definitely something you can grab on the go, and will cool you off during your hot Spanish fling.link Read More RegaSull: 16 Jun 2011

Tripods Are Overrated, Get A Twig Pod Instead
Tripods are a real pain to deal with. First you need to have room for the feet to spread out. Then you also have to have the patience to unfold and collapse them each time you want to take a steady shot. The Twit Pod saves you all that hassle. This monopod has just one foot – a foot with a point at the end that you can jam deep into the ground to hold your camera steady. When you’re done with it, just shake the dirt off, fold it up, and move on with your day. It doesn’t get much simpler than that. $28 Read More RegaSull: 16 Jun 2011
